Site language

A functional cookie remembers your FR / EN language choice for 180 days. Without a saved choice, the language specified by your browser is used. This choice is independent of analytics consent.

Data and purposes

Answers entered in the configurator and request dialog stay in the open page’s memory. No form sends them to SkadeTweaks. They disappear when the page is closed or reloaded; the request dialog also clears its fields when closed. If you copy the summary, a copy remains in your device’s clipboard under your control.

You choose to transmit your summary by pasting and sending it on Discord. Messages received on Discord or by email are used to answer your request, prepare or deliver the service and provide follow-up support. Depending on the situation, the legal bases are pre-contractual measures, performance of a contract and legal obligations. Consent is used for optional analytics and republishing a testimonial on the site.

Recipients and third-party services

Private conversations are intended for SkadeTweaks and the providers necessary for the service: Discord for messaging, RustDesk for remote access, Cal.com if scheduling is enabled, Google Analytics after consent and the technical host. Fonts are hosted with the website. Discord testimonial images make requests to Discord, with technical data such as your IP address.

Messages posted in #avis are visible to members with access to that channel. A testimonial republished on the site becomes visible to its visitors. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their contractual safeguards and policies. Do not share a UserDiag report or screenshot containing personal data in a public space.

Retention periods

Your privacy choice expires after 183 days. If browser storage is blocked, the choice only lasts for the open page. Form fields follow the lifecycle described above.

Current Discord practice: SkadeTweaks does not automatically delete tickets or messages, including those in #avis; there is currently no systematic deletion deadline. A retention period or deletion criteria still need to be formalised. This describes the current practice and does not guarantee that this retention is compliant.

To request deletion of a conversation or removal of a republished testimonial, email [email protected] and identify the message. Requests are handled with regard to individuals’ rights and any applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics

Necessary local storage remembers your privacy choice. Google Analytics is only loaded if a valid identifier is configured and you have consented. No advertising trackers are included. Form fields are not sent to analytics. With consent, we measure journey steps: plan selection, diagnostic started or completed, summary prepared and opening Discord. These actions do not confirm that a message was sent or a purchase made.

The ‘Manage privacy’ link lets you withdraw consent. The site then disables new analytics collection. Withdrawal does not retroactively delete data already received by Google; you can also clear the site’s cookies in your browser. When the choice expires, analytics are disabled and the banner reappears.

Discord testimonials

The site automatically displays recent messages from #avis, including their text, the author’s username and avatar, and any attached screenshots. Bot messages, system events, empty messages and mention-only messages are excluded. Mentions of other accounts or channels are replaced with generic labels.

Each testimonial links to the original message. No rating is inferred from its content and no purchase verification is claimed. The feed’s technical cache is limited to two minutes; edits and deletions in the channel are reflected on the next load after that cache expires.

To request removal of a testimonial from the site, contact [email protected] with the message link. Avoid including personal information or screenshots containing sensitive data in reviews.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to certain processing, by emailing [email protected]. You can withdraw consent at any time. A response will be provided within the statutory period, subject to verifying your identity if necessary.

You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at cnil.fr if you believe your rights are not being respected.

Security

SkadeTweaks applies reasonable measures for data minimisation, access control and secure communication. Customers retain control of their computer throughout any remote session.
